About the Program
Hidden Gem Dance is on a mission to bring CantoPOP back into the local dance scene. Let’s travel back in time and celebrate the golden era of CantoPOP while also embracing its new wave. Our performance will feature a mix of your favorite CantoPOP hits, both classic and new. And for all you KPOP fans, we’ve got electrifying KPOP routines to get you moving. Plus, we honour the vibrant world of Taiwanese pop music with special performances, especially here at the annual TAIWANfest.
Are you ready? ‘Cause we are!
Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or a complete beginner, Hidden Gem Dance Studio has cultivated a positive and energetic space for everyone that walks (or glides, slides or moonwalks!) through their doors and onto the dance floor.
Dive into the energetic world of CantoPOP and KPOP, where you’ll learn iconic dance moves and groove to the hottest hits from East Asia. Unleash your confidence and sass in their Heels class, perfect for those who want to add a touch of glamour and empowerment to their dance repertoire.
Hidden Gem Dance Studio is committed to creating a warm, inclusive, and supportive environment where dancers of all levels and ages can thrive!

TAIWANfest Vancouver is grateful to be held on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam Indian Band), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish Nation), and Səl̓ílwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh Nation). We acknowledge our privilege to be gathered here, and commit to work with and be respectful to the Indigenous peoples of this land while we engage in meaningful conversations of culture and reconciliation.
